Customise your Brave privacy settings
From installation Brave blocks all ad trackers, third party cookies and fingerprinters. You can view what Brave is blocking if you click on the Brave icon to the right of the URL address bar.
This is where you can see the Shields view, how Brave displays what items are currently being blocked on the website you are visiting. If you wish to change what Brave is blocking go to your settings page. This may be accessed from the horizontal three line bars on the top right of the Brave window. The default settings are Simple view and Advanced view which govern what you will see when you click on the Brave icon.
On this page you can view and edit the particular settings for your Shield such as Blocking scripts, cookie settings i.e. block all cookies, allow all cookies, block cross site cookies.
